The “Sounds WELL” workshop, organised by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI), will be held in Shanghai on Friday 13 April.
The purpose is to provide training and insight into acoustic comfort.
What is acoustic comfort? Besides noise level, what else will impact your acoustic experiences? How to address acoustic issues in design and construction? What potential solutions can be implemented to achieve acoustic requirements in WELL Building Standards? The "Sounds WELL" workshop will navigate these topics and provide deeper understanding of acoustic comfort.
Jean-Philippe Delhom, CEO of DELHOM ACOUSTIQUE, is participating in this event. He will speak about acoustic standards associated with WELL certification. He will also talk in greater depth about the relative implications of acoustic comfort in design and construction, with an overview of potential solutions which comply with WELL building requirements.
Siyang Zhou, from IWBI, will also be speaking to answer questions related to acoustics in WELL, and will explain why acoustics is an important factor in fulfilling the WELL Standard.
