Delhom Acoustique are proud to announce that the Thales project in Labege, Toulouse has been awarded a Pyramide d'Argent prize.
We worked on the building's acoustic design and performed the final acoustic tests (the project is BREAM).
The Pyramides d'Argent contest, organised by the Federation of Property Developers, rewards regional real estate programs that meet criteria of thermal performance, environmental integration, sustainability, aesthetics and innovation.
The 2017 edition appointed ten winners for Occitania, and this prize was given in the Office Building category.
The modern construction, all glass, aluminium and steel, is divided into two parts, built around a central core. One is an eight-storey office block, the other is for social spaces, canteens and parking - all overlooking a lake. It will house teams from Thales' Services division.
Its strengths are an open and flexible work space, offering services such as a corporate restaurant, locker rooms and showers for employees who enjoy sport, dedicated parking and a clear view of the outside.
The next step is to win the Pyramids d'Or prize which is due to be announced on July 5th or 6th in Paris.
